Transcool exhibits at UK’s premier defence procurement event

The Transcool Systems team recently decamped to Cardiff to attend Defence Procurement Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2014, joining the list of exhibitors and attendees at what is widely recognised as the UK’s premier defence procurement event.

With keynote speakers including Alison Seabeck, shadow minister for defence equipment, support and technology, and experts from the Centre for Defence Acquisition, DPRTE is a forum for networking with key industry figures and for discussion about how the latest policy and legal updates will impact on the purchasing and commissioning within the defence sector.

Our exhibition stand featured our new branding and provided detailed information about our range of products, generating interest in our containerisation, air handling units, dehumidification and skid-mounted pipework solutions. From this base the Transcool team – Kelly Nicholson [Sales], Gaynor Newton [Sales Accounts], Richard Czarnecki [Director] and Brad Nicholson [Director] – were able to make key connections with purchasing and procurement personnel within the defence industry, as well as with potential new suppliers of products and services to the company.

“The show was really well attended and attracted an eclectic mix of different supporting industries to the defence and aviation industries,” reported Brad Nicholson. “We had a good number of visitors to our stand, all of whom went away well-versed in our capabilities and range of products.”
